The Digital Ocean – Ireland’s Marine Engineering & Technology Conference will take place in Galway this year as part of SeaFest 2017, on Thursday 29th of June at the Bailey Allen Hall, NUI Galway. The event is being organised by IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, Irish Maritime Development Office, Marine Institute, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and Science Foundation Ireland.
This conference will feature leading international companies together with national experts from across our Multinational and SME sectors to discuss how new forms of digital innovation can drive growth and efficiencies in established and emerging marine sectors. It will identify key areas of market opportunity as companies innovate into the future. It will provide an unmissable networking opportunity for companies developing products and services for global marine sectors such as Energy, Transport, Fisheries, Observation, Safety and Security.
A two day Marine Trade Show will take place in a purpose-built marquee on the grounds of NUI Galway, to coincide with the Digital Ocean conference and the Our Ocean Wealth Summit, which takes places on Friday, 30th June. The Trade Show will showcase some of the highly innovative products and services emerging from companies from the Irish Marine Industry Network.
